Karmah Eldesouky is a junior at Alverno High School, a member of the student committee for TEDxYouth@Caltech this year, and the designer of the logo for the TEDxYouth conference. With a passion for video games and art, she enjoys spending her time working on independent projects that involve the creation of fictional characters and storylines for future games.
Omar Ozgur is a junior at Irvine High School, and an enthusiastic gamer. He is the founder of the video game programming and design club at his school, and enjoys working with computers. He is also passionate about biology, and uses his knowledge of anatomy to shape the way he views electronics.
Ali Raed is a junior at South Pasadena High School. An avid gamer, he plans to pursue his interests in video games by taking animation and graphic design courses. It is his hope that these courses will help him further develop the skills needed to achieve his goals in the video game industry.
Yousuf Soliman is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy. He has a passion for Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science and is the president of software engineering for the robotics teams at his high school. Yousuf has placed second place in the world in the First Tech Challenge robotics competition. He hopes to further integrate Artificial Intelligence with medicine in the near future.
